6 systems of approximately 18 × 6 meters, completely in an upside-down configuration.
At Layertec, there were several requirements to meet that initially posed new challenges for us. The system was required to be operable not only under cleanroom conditions. Another challenge was the steel construction, which, due to specifications from the structural engineer for a 1000 kg load capacity, was also unusual.
The hall columns were not to be drilled into, nor was dowelling them into the floor allowed. Therefore, we installed special clamps on the hall columns and custom suspensions on the ceiling joists.
In the end, six systems of approximately 6 × 18 meters were completed entirely in an upside-down configuration, and we were able to meet all customer requirements and specifications.
