About Us
When eepos was founded in 2006 by Friedhelm Mücher, Klaus Bellingroth, Timo Koch, and Armin Mücher, the goal was to create consistently ergonomic workplaces. At that time, Friedhelm Mücher had already been working in the crane industry for over 20 years and had identified a unique niche that eepos could fill with its Products. He envisioned crane systems that would run absolutely smoothly, based on a modular principle, and made entirely of aluminum for weight reasons.
Smooth-running and jam-free aluminum cranes
eepos has developed a modular crane system that delivers exceptionally smooth operation, is completely jam-free, requires minimal maintenance, and offers outstanding durability. This pioneering system is the first modular crane made entirely of aluminum, with a load capacity of up to 2 tons. It was introduced under the name eepos one . The system was presented with great success at the MOTEK trade fair, where customers from the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors praised its smooth operation and exceptional flexibility. Within just a few years, the eepos one aluminum modular system established itself as the new quasi-standard for lightweight crane systems with capacities up to 2 tons.
ISO 9001 certified since 2008
eepos made an early commitment to align its quality management system with ISO 9001 standards. The initial certification in 2008 demonstrated eepos’ consistent focus on customer-oriented processes and production methods at its Wiehl facility. The recertification in 2015 continues to validate this commitment today.
After individual workstations were initially equipped with eepos systems, the company was awarded the contract to supply light crane systems for the entire Audi A3 production at the AUDI Győr factory in Hungary.
This project served as both a confirmation of our capabilities and an incentive to become even stronger and more innovative. In the first few years, eepos grew to over 60 employees.
In the following years, eepos consistently further developed its products. Today, the aluminum lifting axle is part of eepos move, as well as the rail system for workplace equipment eepos nano, eepos base energy columns and the BOK system eepos line.
eepos has also continuously advanced the development of digital services, particularly through the online platform eeworld Since 2014, all customers and partners have been able to download the eepos components, the associated technical documents and the latest product information for the construction of their own systems. Since January 2018, numerous easy-to-use configuration tools such as the Crane Designers, the move designers and the base designer, enabling the design of the products by our customers.
For its innovations, eepos has been awarded the prestigious 'TOP 100 Innovator' award three times - in 2015, 100, and 2018.

We recognize our special responsibility as a company towards future generations and have taken appropriate action. Accordingly, we have documented the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our operations and offset them by purchasing climate protection certificates certified under the Verified Carbon Standard.
Implemented measures to reduce emissions
- 2019: Energy audit per DIN EN 16247 by etakonzept Güldner.
- 2021: Installed wallboxes for electric vehicles in our fleet.
- 2023: Increased electric and hybrid vehicles in the fleet from 0% to over 60%.
- 2023: Switched electricity provider to a 100% green electricity tariff.
- 2023: Renewed heating system in storage and production areas.
