August 20, 2024 – Kito Crosby, a global leader in the lifting and securing industry, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire eepos GmbH (“eepos”) and its subsidiaries, renowned for their aluminum light crane systems. The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024.
Founded in 2006 in Wiehl, Germany, eepos has brought flexible lifting solutions to workplaces worldwide. Focusing on the development of modular, smooth-running cranes made from lightweight aluminum, eepos has become a widely recognized brand for ergonomic lifting solutions, with a significant global presence including offices in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Hungary, Turkey, France, South Africa, China, and India.
eepos will join the extensive portfolio of Kito Crosby's installed lifting solutions, which also includes the Kito, Harrington, and Erikkila brands. This comprehensive portfolio provides turnkey lifting solutions for a wide range of applications and industries. Additionally, the acquisition strengthens Kito Crosby's presence in the attractive manufacturing sector and reinforces its leading position in ergonomic solutions that promote safer working practices for workers worldwide.
